Registered Nurses
Come join Evergreen’s fun, experienced and compassionate team of Registered Nurses! Our RNs work casual in both hospice and home care settings, with a special interest in Palliative Care. Shifts range from 8 to 12 hours, days, evenings or nights, to allow you to choose shifts you like, when you like!
Ongoing education and professional development is also offered to our staff through many of the in-services provided by Vancouver Coastal Health. You are encouraged to apply at anytime, as Evergreen hires RNs on an ongoing basis.
What we look for in our Nurses:
- Full, non-restricted practicing members of the BC College of Nurses
- Interested/Experienced in working in Palliative Care
- Current criminal record check
- Friendly, reliable, mature and compassionate
- Comfortable working independently with clients
- Strong problem solving and clinical reasoning skills

Community Health Workers
Evergreen is currently accepting applications to join our winning team of Nurses Aides and Homemakers! Causal, part-time, full-time and live-in positions are available. Assignments are scheduled at various times throughout the day, with a minimum of a 2-hour visit.
What we look for in our Community Health Workers:
- Nurse Aide Certification (Nurse Aides only)
- Current criminal record check
- Friendly, reliable, mature and compassionate
- Flexible availability
- Comfortable working independently with clients
- Strong problem solving skill
